Joined the 130th Battalion, CEF, in Carleton Place, Ontario, on 29 October 1915 (number 787605) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 14 or 15 November 1916 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
