Private Joseph Emmett Hogan

Born on 5 June 1896 in Ontario - son of Margaret Hogan, Arnprior, Ontario - at the time of his conscription in 1918: present address in Arnprior, Ontario, single, Roman Catholic, trade as labourer, no current or previous military service, height of 5 feet 7 inches, chest of 36 inches fully expanded, sallow complexion, blue eyes, brown hair.

Conscripted into the 1st Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, CEF, in Kingston, Ontario, on 4 January 1918 (number 3055366) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 10 or 11 June 1918 - wounded on 28 September 1918 - invalided to England on 9 October 1918.
