Lieutenant Roy Wellington Sills

Born on 7 September 1892 in Halloway, Ontario - son of John Sills, Halloway, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: present address in Halloway, Ontario; married; trade as farmer; Methodist; currently a member of the 49th Regiment; no previous military service.

Joined the 136th Battalion, CEF, in Ontario on 14 December 1915 - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 10 April 1918 - wounded on 11 August 1918 - invalided to England on 16 August 1918.
