Private Harvey Austin Rusk

Born on 11 July 1891 in Waterdown, Ontario - son of Richard Rusk, Waterdown, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Elora, Ontario; trade as machinist; single; no current or previous military service; Presbyterian; height of 5 feet 7.5 inches; chest of 37.5 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; gray eyes; dark hair.

Joined the Canadian Army Service Corps, CEF, in Elora, Ontario, on 27 March 1916 (number 928728) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 11 or 12 July 1917 - transferred to Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, CEF, on 28 November 1917 - wounded on 30 September 1918.
