Born on 18 July 1881 in Merrickville, Ontario - son of William Miskelly, Merrickville, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1917: present address in Merrickville, Ontario; trade as tinsmith; single; no current or previous military service; Methodist; height of 5 feet 6.5 inches; chest of 35.5 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; blue eyes; light brown hair.

Joined No. 3 Section Divisional Ammunition Column, CEF, in Kingston, Ontario, on 21 March 1917 (number 2043040) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 11 or 12 July 1917 - killed in action on 30 October 1917 - name inscribed on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial (panel 10-18-26-28), Belgium.
