Joined the 126th Battalion, CEF, on 13 December 1915 (number 775351) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 4 or 6 December 1916 - wounded on 9 April 1917 - invalided to England on 13 April 1917 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 11 November 1917 - wounded on 3 or 4 September 1918 - invalided to England on 8 September 1918.
