Acting-Major (Lieutenant) Edward Cecil Horatio Moore

Born in 1877 in London, England - husband of Kathleen Mary Moore, Brockville, Ontario - son of Edward Cecil Moore, London, England - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as manufacturer; married; currently a member of the 41st Regiment (two months); no previous military service.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 9 April 1915 - served with the 38th Battalion during its period of garrison duty in Bermuda - landed in France with the 38th Battalion on 13 August 1916 - killed in action on 9 April 1917 - buried in Villers Station Cemetery (grave IX.A.1), France.
