Private Cecil Thomas Bertram Jones

Born on 8 February 1896 in Hamilton Township, Ontario - son of Robert Jones, Cobourg, Ontario - at the time of his conscription in 1918: present address same as father; single; Methodist; trade as farmer; no current or previous military service; height of 5 feet 8 inches; chest of 34.5 inches fully expanded; light complexion; brown eyes; brown hair.

Conscripted into the 1st Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, CEF, in Kingston, Ontario, on 27 March 1918 (number 3057535) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 12 or 13 September 1918 - wounded on 1 October 1918 - invalided to England on 9 October 1918.
