Joined the Signals Training Depot, Canadian Engineers, CEF, in Barriefield, Ontario, on 30 June 1917 (number 2265942) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 12 or 13 September 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
