Private Gordon Gould

Born on 27 July 1893 in Spring Hill, Nova Scotia - son of Mrs. Minnie Gould, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan - at the time of his conscription in 1918: present address in Stoughton, Saskatchewan, single, Church of England, trade as well driller, no current military service, previously served with the 46th Battalion, CEF (eight months), height of 5 feet 8 inches, chest of 36 inches fully expanded, light complexion, brown eyes, brown hair.

Conscripted into the 1st Depot Battalion, Saskatchewan Regiment, in Regina, Saskatchewan, on 10 January 1918 (number 256942) - taken on the strength of the 28th Battalion, CEF, on 5 September 1918 - transferred to the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 21 or 22 September 1918 - wounded on 4 November 1918 - invalided to England on 7 November 1918.
