Joined the 38th Battalion on 11 or 26 February 1915 (number 410915) - served with the battalion during its period of garrison duty in Bermuda - landed in France with the battalion on 13 August 1916 - wounded on 2 or 4 September 1918 - rejoined the battalion on 9 December 1918 - struck off the strength of the battalion on 5 May 1919.
