Drafted into the 2nd Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, on 18 January 1918 (number 3320147) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion in France on 10 or 12 June 1918 - struck off the strength of the battalion to England on 8 January 1919.
