Private Frederick George Rickman

Born on 4 June 1891 in Lymington, England - son of Mrs. Alice Maud Rickman, Springbourne, Bournemouth, England - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as auto-driver; single; no current or previous military service; Church of England; height of 5 feet 10 inches; chest of 34.5 inches fully expanded; dark complexion; grey eyes; dark hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Smiths Falls, Ontario, on 1 January 1915 (number 410601) - served with the 38th Battalion during its period of garrison duty in Bermuda - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion in England on 6 July 1916 - later served with the Canadian Army Service Corps, CEF.

Died in 1968 - buried in Thompsonville Cemetery, Renfrew, Ontario.
