Private Wilfred Lasca Buck

Born on 3 August 1897 in Norwood, Ontario - grandson of Jno G. Buck, Norwood, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as gardener, single, no current military service, previously served two years with the 40th Regiment, Baptist, height of 5 feet 8 inches, chest of 35.25 inches, medium complexion, blue eyes, auburn hair.

Joined the 77th Battalion, CEF, in Cobourg, Ontario, on 19 August 1915 (number 144912) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Bermuda on 6 December 1915 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 8 June 1916.
