Private Thomas Francis Quinlan

Born on 1 October 1895 in Barnet Barracks, England - son of Michael Quinlan, Ottawa, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as printer; single; currently a member of the 43rd Regiment Duke of Cornwall's Own Rifles (three years); no previous military service; Roman Catholic; height of 5 feet 6 inches; chest of 33.5 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; hazel eyes; auburn hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 25 February 1915 (number 410486) - transferred to the 2nd Battalion, CEF, on 25 August 1915.
