Joined the 154th Battalion, CEF, in Cornwall, Ontario, on 21 December 1915 (number 633150) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 18 or 19 January 1918 - wounded on 2 September 1918 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 9 November 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
Died in 1969 - buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Cardinal, Ontario.
Awarded the Military Medal - no official citation - unit recommendation dated 15 August 1918: "For devotion to duty on Aug. 11th 1918."
