Private Joseph Pelletier

Born on 8 December 1896 in Bois Franc, Quebec - son of Mrs. A. Pelletier, Hull, Quebec - at the time of his conscription in 1918: present address same as mother; single; Roman Catholic; trade as labourer; no current or previous military service; height of 5 feet 8.5 inches; chest of 34 inches fully expanded; dark complexion; brown eyes; black hair.

Conscripted into the 2nd Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 2 April 1918 (number 3320908) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 10 or 11 October 1918 - died on 30 October 1918 of wounds received that day - buried in Douai British Cemetery (grave G.14), France.
