Attempted to join [58th Battalion, CEF???] in 1915 - refused inoculation - struck off strength on 1 August 1915 - joined the 126th Battalion, CEF, in Toronto, Ontario, on 23 December 1915 (number 775130) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 4 or 6 December 1916 - wounded on 26 or 28 May 1917 - invalided to England on 2 June 1917.
