Private Robert Maxwell MacNaughton

Born on 18 September 1895 in Norwood, Ontario - son of Donald MacNaughton, Norwood, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1917: present address in Norwood, Ontario; trade as public school teacher; single; no current military service; previously served in a cadet corps; Baptist or Congregationalist; height of 5 feet 11 inches; chest of 34.5 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; blue eyes; light hair.

Joined the Canadian Army Medical Corps, CEF, in Barriefield Camp, Ontario, on 19 June 1917 (number 2098922) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 11 or 12 April 1918 - wounded on 2 September 1918 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 27 September 1918 - wounded on 1 November 1918 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 20 November 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 1 March 1919.
