My father, Robert Franklin Lavery, son of George and Margaret Lavery, was born in Milton, Ontario on 27th June 1899. He was the youngest of 4 of the 5 sons of George and Margaret Lavery who fought in WW I. His grandson is currently serving in Afghanistan.
