Joined the 154th Canadian Infantry Battalion on 5 February 1916 (number 633410) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion in France on 24 May 1917 - wounded on 30 March or 2 April 1918 - rejoined the battalion on 6 September 1918 - killed in action on 29 September 1918 - buried in Bourlon Wood Cemetery, France.
