Private John Connolly

Born on 14 October 1892 in Lindsay, Ontario - son of James Connolly, Lindsay, Ontario - at time of conscription in 1918: present address same as father, single, Roman Catholic, no current or previous military service, height of 5 feet 6.5 inches, chest of 38 inches fully expanded, fair complexion, blue eyes, light hair.

Conscripted into the 1st Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, in Kingston, Ontario, on 9 January 1918 (number 3055778) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 10 or 11 October 1918 - wounded on 1 November 1918 - invalided to England on 5 November 1918.

I was wondering if you had any more info on Private John Connolly`s family history... I am tring to find out more about where my family came from and so far all I know is my great great grandmothers name was Alice Connolly and my great grand father was James Jackson Connolly he served in the 15th battalion of the 48th highlanders of canada in 1914
