Private Roy Lee Weldon

Born on 27 December 1894 in Fenelon Township, Victoria County, Ontario - son of Richard Weldon, Cambray, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Cambray, Ontario; trade as farmer; single; no current or previous military service; Methodist; height of 5 feet 5.5 inches; chest of 36 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; grey eyes; fair hair.

Joined the 109th Battalion, CEF, in Fenelon Falls, Ontario, on 15 March 1916 (number 724124) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 4 or 6 December 1916 - wounded on 9 April 1917 - invalided to England on 12 April 1917.
