Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 31 May 1915 (number 410877) - served with the 38th Battalion during its period of garrison duty in Bermuda - landed in France with the 38th Battalion on 13 August 1916 - wounded on 30 March 1918 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 9 April 1918 - wounded on 27 September 1918 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 2 November 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.

Thank you for information on my father Joseph Patrick Ryan and his brother James Patrick Ryan. Have been looking for some time. Joseph died in 1981.
