Private David Benedict Rennoldson

Born on 21 March 1887 in London, England - son of David Henry and Gertrude Rennoldson, Montreal, Quebec - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as mechanical engineer; single; no current or previous service; Church of England; height of 5 feet 6.7 inches; chest of 38.8 inches fully expanded; medium complexion; brown eyes; brown hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Montreal, Quebec, on 2 March 1915 (number 410927) - transferred to Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry on 16 July 1915 - killed in action on 2 June 1916 - name inscribed on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial (panel 10), Belgium.
