Private Godrey Maxwell

Born on 13 March 1895 in Toronto, Ontario - son of Mr. M.A. Maxwell, Cornwall, Ontario - at the time of his conscription in 1918: present address in Smiths Falls, Ontario; single; Presbyterian; trade as railroad brakeman; no current or previous military service; height of 5 feet 4 inches; chest of 37.5 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; grey eyes; brown hair.

Conscripted into the 2nd Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 14 January 1918 (number 3320216) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 17 or 18 August 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
