Private Roy Lapier

Born on 3 April 1890 in Morrisburg, Ontario - son of Cyrus Lapier, Morrisburg, Ontario - at the time of his conscription in 1918: present address in Morrisburg, Ontario; single; Church of England; trade as moulder; no current or previous military service; height of 5 feet 3 inches; chest of 36 inches fully expanded; dark complexion; hazel eyes; dark hair.

Conscripted into the 1st Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, CEF, in Kingston, Ontario, on 16 February 1918 (number 3056769) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 10 or 11 October 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
