Fit for police duty."
Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 30 December 1914 (number 410359) - transferred to the 2nd Battalion, CEF, on 25 August 1915 - wounded on 13 or 14 June 1916 - discharged on 23 June 1917 - joined the Corps of Military Staff Clerks, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 15 July 1919 - joined the Special Guard, Canadian Military Police Corps (with the Permanent Force) in Ottawa, Ontario, on 15 September 1919.
