Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 18 March 1915 (number 410123) - served with the 38th Battalion during its period of garrison duty in Bermuda - landed in France with the 38th Battalion on 13 August 1916 - wounded on 9 or 11 April 1917 - invalided to England on 12 April 1917.

Thank-you for "Soldiers of the 38th".
I have in my possession an original letter written by Cpl. Kuhn to his father Frederick in Brockville. It was written from Vimy on April 12th advising his father that he had been wounded (not to worry) and just prior to his transfer back to "Old Blighty" (as he called it).
Am now attempting to document Kuhn's life after his return to Canada and whether he settled in Brockville or Ottawa area.
