Joined No. 3 Section, Divisional Ammunition Column, CEF, in Kingston, Ontario, on 13 March 1917 (number 2043035) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 11 or 12 July 1917 - wounded on 12 or 27 October 1917 - invalided to England on 10 November 1917 - later served with the Canadian Forestry Corps.
