Private Sidney Charles Hall

Born on 15 December 1892 in London, England - son of John Hall, Itteringham, Norfolk, England - at the time of his conscription in 1918: present address in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, single, Church of England, trade as blacksmith, no current or previous military service, height of 5 feet 4.5 inches, chest of 36.5 inches fully expanded, medium complexion, grey eyes, brown hair.

Conscripted into the 1st Depot Battalion, Saskatchewan Regiment, CEF, in Regina, Saskatchewan, on 12 January 1918 (number 257093) - taken on the strength of the 28th Battalion, CEF, on 5 September 1918 - transferred to the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 21 or 22 September 1918 - wounded on 30 September 1918 - invalided to England on 1 October 1918 - died of sickness in England on 12 February 1919 - buried in Bramshott (St. Mary) Churchyard (grave III.D.17), England.
