Corporal Walter Stanley Scott

Born on 25 February 1890 in Dershone[?] Township, Ontario - son of William S. Scott, Tillsonburg, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address same as father; trade as farmer; single; currently a member of Grey's Horse (sergeant); no previous military service; Methodist; height of 5 feet 4.75 inches; chest of 36.5 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; brown eyes; black hair.

Joined the 168th Battalion, CEF, in Tillsonburg, Ontario, on 6 January 1916 (number 675052) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 12 or 13 February 1917 - wounded on 9 April 1917 - invalided to England on 24 April 1917.
