Private David Francis McBrien

Born on 4 December 1883 in Ireland - son of Mrs. Margaret McBrien, Belleek, Fermenegh, Ireland - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as teamster; single; no current or previous military service; Church of England; height of 5 feet 5 inches; chest of 35 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; blue eyes; dark hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Smiths Falls, Ontario, on 13 February 1915 (number 410861) - transferred to the 2nd Battalion, CEF, on 25 August 1915.
