Private Henry Noble Lock

Born on 3 February 1881 in Garden Hill, Ontario - son of John Henry and Emily Lock, Toronto, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address same as mother; trade as labourer; single; no current military service; previously served with the Royal Grenadiers (Private, three years); Church of England; height of 5 feet 6.75 inches; chest of 38.5 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; grey eyes; brown hair.

Joined the 166th Battalion, CEF, in Toronto, Ontario, on 26 February 1916 (number 669876) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 27 November or 1 December 1916 - wounded on 9 April 1917 - died of his wounds on 17 April 1917 - buried in Barlin Communal Cemetery Extension (grave I.A.32), France.
