Private Laurence Graves

Born on 9 December 1899 in St. Thomas, Ontario - son of Mrs. Lilly Graves, St. Thomas, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1919: present address same as mother, trade as express collector, single, no current military service, previously served with the 91st Battalion, CEF (two years and one month), Church of England, height of 5 feet 6.5 inches, chest of 35.5 inches fully expanded, medium complexion, dark brown eyes, dark brown hair.

Joined the 91st Battalion, CEF, on 29 March 1916 (number 190149) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 20 or 21 August 1916 - invalided sick to England on 22 September 1916 - rejoined the CEF in London, Ontario, on 4 April 1919.
