Lieutenant Archibald James Easterbrook

Born on 12 March 1882 in St. John's, Newfoundland - next of kin listed as Mrs. Ina Easterbrook, Montreal, Quebec - at the time of his enlistment in 1914: trade as accountant, married, currently a member of the militia (for three years), no previous military service, Presbyterian, height of 5 feet 6 inches, chest of 36.5 inches fully expanded, fair complexion, blue eyes, light brown hair.

Joined Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, on 24 October 1914 - taken on the strength of the PPCLI in France on 23 February 1915 - wounded on 8 or 21 May 1915 - invalided to England on 29 May 1915 - transferred to the 7th Reserve Battalion, CEF, on 28 April 1917 - transferred to the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 14 July 1917 - invalided sick to England on 7 November 1917 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 23 August 1918 - wounded on 30 September or 1 October 1918 - invalided to England on 3 October 1918.
