My Dad (Oakley J. Carey) had an uncle that was in World War II and his name of Albert Ernest Carey, but in my notes I have that A.E. Carey was born in 1888 in Portland, Quebec and was the son of John Josepeh and Alice Chambers of Porland, Quebec. In my notes it says he was killed in action on Nov. 11, 1918. How can we tell which is the true information - mine or your's. I just want to record the correct information. Thanks.

My sources for this entry include his attestation paper on the Library and Archives website (http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/databases/cef/001042-119.01-e.php?&id_nbr=87366&interval=20&&PHPSESSID=uu6adrn62ut3d1o82s24v5a1b6) and his entry on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission "Debt of Honour" register (http://www.cwgc.org/search/casualty_details.aspx?casualty=53874). Unfortunately, I could not find another A.E. Carey to match your findings. Hope this helps. Ken
