Private Arthur Henry White

Born on 24 January 1897 in London, England - son of George White, London, England - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Dundalk, Ontario; trade as farmer; single; no current or previous military service; Methodist; height of 5 feet 3.5 inches; chest of 35.5 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; gray eyes; dark hair.

Joined the 147th Battalion, CEF, in Owen Sound, Ontario, on 15 February 1916 (number 838862) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 8 or 9 April 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
