Private Hector Seguin

Born on 29 April 1893 in Longueuil Township, Quebec - son of Peter and Josephine Seguin, McAlpine, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in McAlpine, Ontario; trade as lineman; single; no current or previous military service; Roman Catholic; height of 5 feet 5.75 inches; chest of 37 inches fully expanded; ruddy complexion; greyish eyes; medium dark hair.

Joined the 154th Battalion, CEF, in Vankleek Hill, Ontario, on 8 February 1916 (number 633435) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 24 May 1917 - killed in action on 27 June 1917 - name inscribed on the Vimy Memorial, France.
