Private Harry Sears

Born on 27 April 1897 in London, England - son of Mr. Sears, Toronto, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address same as father; trade as laborer; single; no current or previous military service; Church of England; height of 5 feet 4.75 inches; chest of 33 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; blue eyes; fair hair.

Joined the 126th Battalion, CEF, in Toronto, Ontario, on 7 January 1916 (number 775179) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 4 or 6 December 1916 - wounded on 30 September 1918 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 31 October 1918 - invalided sick to England on 27 November 1918.
