Private Norman Saville

Born on 20 October 1895 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England - son of Lily Saville, Oakwood, Victoria County, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Oakwood, Ontario; trade as farmer; single; no current military service; previously served with the 45th Victoria Regiment (one year); Methodist; height of 5 feet 3 inches; chest of 36 inches fully expanded; dark complexion; blue eyes; black hair.

Joined the 109th Battalion, CEF, in Lindsay, Ontario, on 10 March 1916 (number 724108) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 4 or 6 December 1915 - wounded on 9 April 1917 - invalided to England on 12 April 1917.
