Lieutenant Budimir Protich

Born on 25 May 1875 in Serbia - husband of Freda Protich, Regina, Saskatchewan - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address same as wife; trade as court interpreter; Greek Catholic; no current military service; previously served with the Serbian Army (two years).

Joined the 212th Battalion, CEF, as a lieutenant in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on 13 March 1916 - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, as a lieutenant on 6 March 1917 - wounded on 29 or 31 March 1917 - invalided to England on 6 April 1917.
