Born on 23 December 1895 in Sussex, England - son of William John Page, Sussex, England - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: present address in Dutton, Ontario; trade as farming; single; no current or previous military service; Methodist; height of 5 feet 2.5 inches; chest of 35 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; blue eyes; dark brown hair.

Joined the 91st Battalion, CEF, in St. Thomas, Ontario, on 29 November 1915 (number 189530) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 20 or 21 August 1916 - attached to the 12th Canadian Light Trench Mortar Battery, CEF, on 20 February 1917 - struck off strength to the 12th Canadian Light Trench Mortar Battery on 1 October 1917 - wounded on 30 September 1918.
