Joined the 91st Battalion, CEF, on 6 March 1916 (number 190043) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 20 or 21 August 1916 - invalided sick to England on 22 September 1916 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 5 September 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 5 May 1919.
