Private Allen Ferguson McConnell

Born on 5 May 1895 in Renfrew, Ontario - son of Mrs. Mary Ann McConnell, Cobden, Ontario - at the time of his conscription in 1918: present address in Cobden, Ontario; single; Methodist; trade as farm labourer; no current or previous military service; height of 5 feet 6 inches; chest of 34 inches fully expanded; weight of 150 pounds; ruddy complexion; blue eyes; brown hair.

Conscripted into the 1st Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, CEF, in Kingston, Ontario, on 1 March 1918 (number 3056959) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 12 or 13 September 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
