Private Henry William Le Sueur

Born on 23 October 1880 in St. Lawrence, Jersey Island - son of J.R. Le Sueur, Les Montagnes, [?] - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: trade as saddler; single; no current military service; previously served with the 1st Royal Jersey Light Infantry (ten years); Church of England; height of 5 feet 7.5 inches; chest of 37.5 inches fully expanded; medium complexion; brown eyes; brown hair.

Joined the 154th Battalion, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 9 March 1916 (number 633747) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 18 or 19 January 1918 - transferred to the Canadian Labour Pool, CEF, on 26 April 1918 - transferred to the 2nd Canadian Infantry Works Battalion, CEF, on 14 May 1918.
