Joined the 126th Battalion, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 28 January 1916 (number 775622) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 4 or 6 December 1916 - wounded on 9 April 1917 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 24 June 1917 - wounded on 30 June 1917 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 26 September 1917 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 5 May 1919.
