Private George Albert Dierker

Born on 20 April 1890 in Westphalia, Kansas - son of Lena Dierker, Cudworth, Saskatchewan - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Lipton, Saskatchewan, trade as grain buyer, single, no current or previous military service, Roman Catholic, height of 5 feet 8.5 inches, chest of 39.5 inches fully expanded, ruddy complexion, grey eyes, black hair.

Joined the 212th Battalion, CEF, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on 18 April 1916 (number 261187) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 17 or 18 May 1917 - wounded on 27 September 1918 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 9 November 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
