Joined the 128th Battalion, CEF, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, on 8 January 1916 (number 781863) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 26 or 27 September 1917 - wounded on 21 August 1918 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 25 August 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 5 May 1919.
