Private Arthur Yarrington

Born on 12 July 1879 in Witford, Hertfordshire, England - husband of Alice Yarrington, Hamilton, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as farm labourer; married; no current military service; previously served with the 16th Bedfordshire Regiment (seven years active, four years reserve, four years garrison duty, India); Methodist; height of 5 feet 5.25 inches; chest of 36.5 inches fully expanded; dark complexion; blue eyes; brown hair.

Joined the 120th Battalion, CEF, in Hamilton, Ontario, on 17 October 1915 (number 757238) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 8 or 9 April 1918 - struck off strength to the Canadian Labour Pool, CEF, on 17 April 1918.
